Mark 10:46-52
Pastor Key taught on blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus. He talked about how blind Bartimaeus did not let those surrounding him stop him from getting what he needed from Jesus. Although he could not physically see, his spiritual eyes allowed him to see what Jesus could do for him.
Pastor Key explained to us that those around us may be believers but they will try to convince us that there is no need to continually call on the master. Pastor explained that it's not the lack of faith that causes us to continue to pray to God but it because you have faith! We were reminded that even Jesus prayed to the father more than once.
A child continues to ask their parent for something not because they think there is a possible that they may recieve what they ask for. They continue to ask because they BELIEVE that their partent can give them what they ask for!
What is it that you need from the Lord (our Heavenly Father) ? Do you believe that he can do?
Have FAITH in the FATHER and watch him work it out for you!
